More than 40,000 Oregonians joined our effort to restore permit-free access to Oregon’s waterways. Although the 2026 petition drive has ended, the mission continues.
Let Us Paddle remains committed to working through the Legislature, educating the public, holding state agencies accountable, and building support to repeal Oregon’s Waterway Access Permit for human-powered boats.
Maintaining an active and compliant political committee also costs money. Your contribution helps us:
Pay required bookkeeping, reporting, banking, and compliance expenses
Maintain our website, communications, and public outreach
Advocate for legislative repeal of the permit
Prepare for future campaigns and opportunities to restore permit-free access
We operated this campaign with volunteers, grassroots support, and a fraction of the money available to the political establishment. Every contribution—large or small—helps keep the organization alive and the pressure on.
Oregon’s rivers and lakes belong to all of us. Kayakers, paddleboarders, canoeists, anglers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts should not have to purchase government permission simply to put a paddle in the water.
Donate today and help us return Oregon’s waterways to permit-free access.

Dear friends of freedom and public access,
Oregon’s paddle permit expansion is more than just a bad law—it’s a tax on joy, freedom, and our right to use public waterways without a government permission slip. That’s why we’ve launched Initiative Petition 2026-053, and we hav builkt a statewide grassroots movement in an attempt to repeal it.
But we can not continue this without your help.
We will continue to be transparent with our PAC account. We believe we ran one of the most efficent and fiscally responsible all vollunteer inititatve petitions in recent history!
Your donation to Let Us Paddle PAC is not tax-deductible, but you may be eligible for Oregon’s Political Tax Credit.
If you qualify, Oregon allows:
Up to $50 per individual, or
$100 per couple filing jointly
to be credited back to you at tax time when you donate to a qualified political committee like ours.
